SYNDICATE FILM SCHOOL'S DDD FILMMAKING COURSES
PROGRAMS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
At Syndicate, we provide 12-week semesters that run all year round. These special needs filmmaking programs are designed to ignite passion and foster skills in various aspects of filmmaking and media. Our courses include photography, general filmmaking, screenwriting, podcasting, and acting. General filmmaking is our most popular course, covering an extensive range of topics such as film theory, storyboarding, cinematography, editing, and much more.
We host in-person classes at our studios in Jamesburg and Hazlet, New Jersey, ensuring students can access top-notch facilities and hands-on experience with professional film gear.
For those who prefer the convenience of learning from home, we also offer classes via Zoom. This hybrid model of instruction accommodates all students, allowing them to learn in the environment that best suits their needs.
In our commitment to continuously enhance our curriculum, we welcome suggestions for classes for upcoming semesters. This approach ensures our special needs film classes evolve and align with the interests and needs of our students, encouraging their continued engagement and growth in the creative arts.

PAYMENT PLANS
We offer one-on-one sessions that are distinct from our standard 12-week program. These sessions, available in areas like filmmaking, photography, acting, and more, are conducted via Zoom, allowing participants to engage from the comfort of their own homes.
Once a student selects a topic and decides on the number of sessions, we tailor a customized curriculum to meet their individual needs. This approach allows for a highly personalized educational experience that is flexible and adaptable. Students and parents can choose their preferred number of sessions, select times that fit their schedules, and start at any point during the year.
Our wide-ranging curriculum includes disciplines such as acting, screenwriting, photography, filmmaking, animation, and graphic design. Our dedicated instructors are trained to adapt teaching methods and provide necessary accommodations, ensuring an inclusive and enriching learning environment. They offer personalized guidance and support, focusing on patience, encouragement, and hands-on practice to help students explore their creativity and develop their unique voice in visual storytelling.
